Dr Cole and team: Trico Closure

I would be interested in the opinion of any qualified to comment on the Trico-closure techniques recently being implemented by some FUT doctors. I have seen some of the results and they "appear" to be impressive. Some of the results actually seem they might give FUE a run for its money in regards to...

thats a great impovement for such a small amount of grafts. Just out of curiosity, what is the largest only scalp FIT patient completed by IHTI. I know there is a poster who has had around 5 thousand in 8 days. Anything larger?

From what I know, shockloss from BHT is minimal compared to scalp FUE. IN the donor area, FUE creates less shockloss than traditioanl strip harvesting. Whenever placing new grafts into areas where thinning hair is residing, one must be wary of shockloss. Sometimes you grow it back sometimes you don'...

interesting question and not an easy one to answer because everyone has a different view and HL affects them differently. I too have almost stopped all treatment. My rationale behind this is the following. I realize that at the age of 25, I have agressive MPB. Basically the beginnings of a NW 3 in t...

anytime you use the word "slightly" to describe your balding...its not time for a HT. Especially at age 26 IMO.

as of right now, scalp hair is more predictable and should be used if donor supply is not an issue. If an issue, that is your headed for high degrees of baldness, then IMO body hair should be attempted at first or in conjunction with scalp.

Not meant to criticize, but I respectfully disagree with your statement that eyebrow reconstruction "s more personal than Hair Transplants".

Ht's are never going to get you what you had in your early 20's ever. And, you should be wary of what the future has in store because your HL has most certainly not stopped. You have gained an illusion of hair. A thinning crown is perfectly cosmetically acceptable. Don't get greedy and save that hai...

10 days is far too scoon. ask again in 6 months when the scar has healed. Try some "Mderma" or scar zone creams and hydrocortisone cream. Perhaps you should densly pack the scar with FIT scalp grafts. Maybe 150/cm.

i think ten years is a stretch, but you get my point. I feel it is ironic that many ,including myself, go on propecia for its benefits, but really never have anything to compare the results to. How does one know the results wouldn't be achieved without the use of the drug? I understand there are the...

My post in regards to propecia was meant to put the drug in a realistic propspective. Many are fooled in believing that taking propecia will stop your hair loss in its tracks for 5 years at least. I don't believe this drug is nearly that effective. Minox actually has proven the best results with me,...

i wouldn't suggest using minox. I used it too early and its a pain. Mega men is a good multi, but any multi-vitamin will suffice. Really, there is little one can do to stop hair loss IMHO. Taking vitamins, supplements, creams and sprays are not going to stop MPB. When I first discovered my HL, I fre...

sexual side effects include weak erections, and difficulty maintaining them. These side effects are somewhat rare althought I believe that they occur more than Merc studies claim. I initially had them, but then they diminished after about a month. I stopped propecia for two weeks last month and I wa...

everyone has DHT, some people's hair follicles are more genetically predetermined to be sensative to DHT in certain areas of teh scalp. Its not so much that more DHT is found in baldies. I highly doubt that any drug that stops hair loss in its traks will be out in the next 10-15 yrs. However, I do b...
