We don't really know exactally what causes mpb; it seems to be multi-factorial and it varies from individual to individual. However, blocking the production of DHT can stop, slow, or sometimes reverse the hair loss progression.

Let me know how the Hair Cycle works out for you.

Well, I have switched to exercising with my own weight(eg pull ups, push ups etc) this in turn has helped me SLOW DOWN the process of loosing my hear. I know that if the hair is programmed to fall of it will but pushing that date further and further is my main objective.

I spend over 150USD every month for Nioxin products, work or not I think to my self at least Im TRYING to do something about the hairlose, same with not doing heavy weights anymore. I would like to hear from you fellow balders what other small natural things we can do to slow done the process( I am agaist any un-natural medications that will effect your hormones)

Cheers Wink

the shampoo and conditioner are wonderful every day items to prolong the anagen phase of your hair. Additional products from Haircycle depend on whether you use daily grooming products such as hair spray or conditioners. One of the major advantages of the Haircycle products is that they are all natural ingredients and lack sodium laurel sulfate, which is a potentialiy harmful lathering agent that is in most shampoos. Haircycle makes a hair spray and a gel. all the haircycle products contain natural ingredients, but you are getting very good benefits from the shampoo and conditioner alone.

You may want to consider some pharmaceutical agents to prolong anagen, as well. These include Nizoral shampoo. This can be used twice a week alternating with the haircycle shampoo. you can use the haircycle conditioner every day.

many men do not like to use conditioners, but the ingredients in haircycle are very good for you hair and prolong anagen. i would leave each of them on for 3 to 5 minutes prior to washing out. Nothing is going to stop your hair from falling out, but there is much you can do to retard it. All hairs a specific number of hair cycles. Suppose it the number of cycles is 10. if each cycle can be prolonged by one year, you might be able to prolong the loss of a hair by up to 10 years. therefore, the sooner in age that you begin to use haircycle, the better off you will be and the longer you will potentially have hair on your head.

You have to recognize what hair cycle does. It prolongs the anagen cycle. In other words, it helps you hair stay on your head longer. It is not going to strimulate new hairs to grow where there were no hairs.

Nizoral will also prolong anagen.

only minoxidil, propecia, and avodart have been shown to produce more hair on your head.

All hairs cycle. they go from anagen (growing) to telogen (resting), to effluvium (fall out). they continue to cycle over and over. Every hair has only so many cycles. Gradually, the growing phase decreases and the resting phase increases in length. Eventually, they barely grow. Hair cycle helps to keep them in the growing phase. It is a long term maintinance shampoo. It is not going to produce new hair. It is going to help you keep hair on your head longer.

i would use nizoral two times per week. hair cycle 5 times per week (shampoo and conditioner, saw palmetto, and propecia with or without minoxidil if you are serious about keeping your hair.
