I have been using Toppik for a while and it's doing the job quite good, i was browsing a website that had a comparison between Toppik and a product called COUVRe, it's indicating that couvre has more benefits...
http://www.folica.com/

It says that it stays longer on the scalp and you can even swim and wash your hair without loosing the coverage...unlike toppik.

What do you guys think? does anyone used COUVRe?

Couvre is similar to a crayon in the way it works. it simply colors the scalp so that you do not see a contrast between the scalp and the hair. Toppik works by coloring the scalp with ground up wool fibers, but it also adheres to the hairs. the fibers build up on the hairs and make them appear thicker.

the problem with toppik is that it washes out easily. you also need to apply hair spray to keep it from blowing out of you hair. if you add too much, it can look artificial.

couvre colors the scalp. it tends to be water resistant and does not wash out easily, even when you want to get rid of it all.

there is another product that some use called dermatch. it works like couvre.

it is probably best to try them all. try to find the product that best matches your hair and the one that you like best. it's like ordering at a fast food restaurant. some order the burger and fries while others get chicken wings. it's a personal preference. use the one or even a combination that works best for you particular hair loss. i think that toppik may work better when you have more hair and the topical make up, couvre, may be better when you hair is much thinner. also, if you plan to go swiming, you are better off with couvre.

incidentally, some with black hair will use an indelible marker such as a sharpie. this is much less expensive and can help camaflage a strip scar or a crown that is too thin. if you find yourself on the road without anything, this may also be a good trick to keep in mind.

none of them works especially well on the hair line. you need to be carful to keep the products off the forehead where they will be a dead give away. like any form of make up, you need a little practice to get good at using them.

Excellent answer Dr. Cole!
I agree with everything...it really make sense.
i have one question, you said that we need to apply dermatach to the skin of the scalp, is it safe for the skin and the grafts?
i guess that the best solution is a hair transplant on the hairline, I think that your hairlines are the best natural hairlines and i have been on many doctor's galleries.
Thanks you.

yes. Dermmatch is safe to apply to the scalp and grafts, but wait for 5 days to one week after transplant to make sure the scalp has healed.
