Have any of you guys tried Hair Cycle?

After my 1400 bht/fit surgery with Dr. Cole over a month ago, I was asked if I wanted to use their Hair Cycle post surgery products. I decided to go with it because I want to give my newly transplanted hair every advantage it could get. I have been using Minoxidil 5% for about 1 1/2 years and continue to this day. Minoxidil has thickened my hair pretty much all over, providing about a 15-20% improvement (my hair needs all the help it can get).

Now, one person's experience (me) is by no means a scientific study, but for me, I have seen a huge reduction in the number of shed hairs during the time I have been using Hair Cycle conditioner and hairspray (ran out of the shampoo). These products have (it says on the label) "anagen stimulators". In other words they are designed to extend hair's anagen period or growth phase.

I have tried a few different things over the last couple of years, so far the Minoxidil/Hair Cycle combo has worked best for me.

BTW, my wife used to buy this "Suave" Max hold hair spray from Wal Mart and I have used it for several years. I have no idea if that stuff is good for your your hair or not. Anyway, I'm glad there is a hair spray available (Hair Cycle) that actually promotes hair growth. You guys should at least try the shampoo and conditioner.

Hi nthmainneighbor,
Welcome to the forum. i'm sure that michelle can get you some more haircycle bottles...call the office.
I agree, i have noticed also on myself the huge difference in the healing and growth from haircycle, after 1 week post up i had no evidance that anything was done, as was posted here:

I'm glad to hear that your healing is fast and secure, do you have any photos to show us? can i post your pre-post surgery photos?
Also, how long have you been using minoxidil and have you ever try propecia?

About HairCycle products. Since I work exclusively with the patients before and after surgery I hear a lot of comments about our post-surgical hair products and so far the consensus is that it is doing what it was designed to do. That is... quicker healer, quicker growth, less shedding out and longer anagen phases. We have repeat buyers of the product even after surgery because of the noticeable difference it has made to thier hair post-op.

I concur, I use the shampoo every morning (about the size of two marbles...quantity). The individual hairs have thickened, grow faster, and have improved thin spots.
