What are the sexual side effects of propecia? Im still young not married and Im scared it will effect me beeing able to have children.

sexual side effects include weak erections, and difficulty maintaining them. These side effects are somewhat rare althought I believe that they occur more than Merc studies claim. I initially had them, but then they diminished after about a month. I stopped propecia for two weeks last month and I was running on full steam. I don't believe that there is permanent damage with the drug. However, I personally also don't beleive that the drug is as effective as many claim it to be. "Cosmetically" proven results are rarely seen IMHO, however some maintaining may work for a few years. It not a miracel drug by any means and expectations should be realistic when embarking on the journey.

I am on Dutasteride and for a month I lost my libido as well as my morning glory.
Things got back to normal after a month although I don;t feel exactly the same as how I did before starting the tablets.

I've been on Finasteride/Dutasteride since September 2004.
