Propecia Dosage. Docs Help please.

I would like to try taking less of propecia and was wondering what some thought of lowering dosage from 1 mg to .75 0r .5 mg daily.

I am feeling some side effects and would like to give it a chance while hopefully retaining the effectiveness.

Every other day or .5 daily?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

just got proscar for the first time. Does the pill loose efficacy when the hull is cut. I cut into 1.25mg and of course I dont need to take the entire pill once cut, so my question is do the extra pieces loos efficacy when they are cut and lying there till next time i use. I might be taking EOD because I cant seem to cut the pill in eights to take .6 every day. Thanks.

With regards to Proscar, how you should you divide it? Into fourths or fifiths seems to be the general consensus?
