FIT growth rate table

Dr. Cole - is there a different in the growth rate between FIT and strip? if so, does such an visible appendix exist anywhere on forhair.com to demostrate the time table and percentages of growth? if not, right now I'm 5+ months from the last 1100 graft FIT procedure, should I be able to realize 50% at this time? In general, patients will grow more hair out of the gate with FIT. That is, they shed fewer grafts post surgery. At this time the doctor links this nice phenomenon to minimized time out of body with FIT grafts. Some data is available but it is not on the site. It is hard to get lots of conclusive data on a procedure (FIT/FUE) that very very few people perform.

So FIT will generally grow quicker but in some cases FIT will lag behind strip with initial growth.

Hard to say at 5 months as you have so much hair in the transplanted area. You may be closing in on 50% or you may have passed it.

thanks FITLocks - I am very happy about the growth rate. I've noticed a lot of filling in the front and am feeling more confident trying new hair styles out in public that open up the hairline whereas before I would not because it would cause a see through effect. Like I said I'm very happy but do hope I have lots more growth left. It not only healed extremelly fast with FIT but has also seemed to grow much faster as well. Having more hair makes it hard to watch and monitor the growth but I definately can live with that problem Wink
