Well Kia, I will not recommend women to use propecia , there are unknown risks of female cancer like breast cancer and uterine...

Pregnant women should not take or even be exposed to it.
However, there are women who reported on a good success with Propecia (finasteride) and it did work for them, the problem is the lack of studies and basically you are taking a risk.
This Study suggest that 62% of the female patients that took Propecia (finasteride), 2.5 mg/dv were showing "some improvement"...but the Study is from 2006 and the long term effects on female cancer risks as i said before are just not well known. |
