F.I.T= Follicular Isolation Technique is a process of removing one follicular unit at a time from the donor region and they get implanted in the receipting area (ususally front scalp and hairline or vertex/crown), as with any other technique the hair will start growing anywhere from 1-4 months and full results will be expected in 12-15 months post surgery with FIT.
With FIT the surgeon is using a variety of small specially customized punches to score the follicles one by one.
The advantage of FIT is that it is less invasive then the strip or trico-closure techniques (involving the removal of strip of flash from the donor area that can leave a big scar ofter closing it)
BHT=Body Hair Transplant, is the same as FIT but the donor supply is coming from the body hair (chest hair, legs, neck, stomach, arms)
