Patient Information

  • Procedure: CIT (Cole FUE)
  • Norwood Scale: Type 4V
  • Number of Grafts: 2000

This patient had received 1200 grafts on September 2003 all over his hairline and 800 grafts on the crown. He was a virgin scalp. The density was 45-50 per square cm, and all the grafts were taken from his scalp donor area. His hairline was reduced 1 inch down on his forehead. It is important to recognize that results will vary based on the individual hair characteristics of the patient. In this case, the patient presents with hair diameter that is high, his average number of hairs per follicular unit (calculated density) is high, curl is present, and he has low hair to skin contrast. In other words, everything is working for this patient. We have many more individuals like this that are achieving similar outstanding results. We hope they may one day allow us to use their photographs (omitted comma) as well. Of course, we have individuals with finer hair, greater hair loss, and low hair densities/ calculated densities. These individuals will require two to three times the amount of work to achieve similar results. You cannot expect a singles hitter to blast the ball out of the park. If you don’t have homerun hair, don’t expect to hit a homerun. This guy has homerun hair. He is hitting a homerun.
