day 1 after surgery

Is it ok to wear a loose fitting baseball cap the first day after a FIT procedure? If not, at what point is it ok? Just trying to make my travel plans and cover all the bases. Thanks in advance.

Yes, It is ok. We also give the patients a black Bandana (doo-rag) after the surgery...looks cool. As long as you lay the baseball cap on your head smoothly and don't pull it strong when you take it off. you will be just fine.

Mammacass, any chance of you documenting your recovery (days 1-14) with pics and dialogue? There is very little of that anywhere on the web. It would be nice to have another view. This would be the most crucial steps in the recovery processs, to me anyway. It would cover the initial steps of bandage removal, formation of scabs, the falling off of scabs, and falling out of transplanted hairs, along with the redness to be expected. This, I'm sure, would benefit a lot of people who are a little nervous about going through with the procedure. I for one don't doubt Dr. Cole's expertise, but am very anxious about the recovery period.
