The Follicular Isolation Technique (FIT) Developed by Dr. John Cole and follicular unit extraction (FUE) brought to the forefront by Dr.'s Woods, Campbell, and Rassman are perhaps the most exciting new development to the field of hair restoration surgery in recent years. This workshop will review the advantages of FUE over strip harvesting as well as review the complications from FUE. We will show how to expand the donor area to regions where no scalpel would dare to travel, how to perforn body hair to scalp transplants, and how to transplant body hair and scalp hair to strip harvest scars. We will also discuss the management of the same patient over several days of repeated surgery to a variety of areas on the scalp and body. You will learn how to improve the candidacy of some patients for a more full coverage. In addition, we will review exciting new applications of FUE to corrective cases.
