At our clinic, this common procedure is done via CIT, a minimally invasive surgery. It is very effective for adding density into strip (FUT) scars. This patient received 80 grafts into the strip scar and the follow-up results are at 8 months and 2 years post-op. Scars usually require more than one session and often times growth into scars are unpredictable due to lacking blood supply.
This is just another example of how patients can heal after a strip procedure. Some patients heal well and some heal poorly regardless of the surgeon. Now this patient has more confidence in having a shorter hair style.
