This is a microscopic photograph depicting a
sliver cut directly in the path of an extracted graft cut by our FIT method. You
will notice that there is no damage to the surrounding hair follicles. This
patient averages 2.4 hairs per follicular group and has a deep dermis. You can
see the empty space between the adjacent follicular groups, where an intact
follicular unit was extracted.
